Maryland Parkway Improvement Project for RTC “Keeping the Corridor Connected” — When the Regional Transportation Commission moved forward with the Maryland Parkway Improvement Project to expand transit access, improve pedestrian infrastructure, and upgrade roadway systems, Terra Contracting provided underground utility and communication infrastructure support to help keep the corridor connected throughout construction.

Terra Contracting relocated multiple communication boxes and assisted with numerous power and fiber line installations to support roadway widening, lighting upgrades, sidewalk improvements, and transportation infrastructure enhancements along one of the region’s major traffic corridors.

Nevada’s Largest Developer “Powering Development”

Nevada’s Largest Developer “Powering Development” — When Nevada’s largest developer needed to bring power infrastructure to a new development, Terra Contracting delivered complete underground utility construction solutions to keep the project moving forward. The project required large-scale trenching, conduit installation, manhole placement, and final roadway restoration to support long-term infrastructure expansion.

Terra Contracting trenched more than 2.4 miles, installed 15 manholes, and placed over 7 miles of conduit to support the project’s power infrastructure systems. To complete the work, Terra’s asphalt crew restored more than 181,000 square feet of asphalt, providing full underground utility installation and surface restoration services from start to finish.

Tropicana and I-15 New Bridge “Excalibur Relocation”

Tropicana and I-15 New Bridge “Excalibur Relocation” — As part of the Tropicana and I-15 bridge improvements project, Terra Contracting completed utility relocation work to support ongoing roadway construction and infrastructure upgrades. The project required excavation, conduit installation, fiber relocation, and utility coordination within a high-traffic corridor near the Las Vegas Strip.

Terra Contracting removed existing conduit and fiber, installed more than 434 feet of new conduit and fiber, relocated the west manhole 8 feet, and relocated the east handhole 6 feet to accommodate the new bridge improvements. The work also included excavation around existing utility boxes, creation of a new relocation path, fiber splicing, slurry removal, and final backfill restoration.

Van Wagenen Street Improvements for City of Henderson, NV

Van Wagenen Street Improvements for City of Henderson, “Power Move” — When the City of Henderson moved forward with the Van Wagenen Street Improvements project, Terra Contracting relocated large underground power systems to support roadway and infrastructure upgrades throughout the corridor. The project required careful coordination to maintain progress while safely working around existing underground utilities.

Terra Contracting installed two large underground vaults, placed more than 900 feet of conduit, and relocated multiple transformers to clear the way for the City’s infrastructure improvements. The completed utility upgrades strengthened power infrastructure reliability while supporting long-term roadway and community development in Henderson.

Peace Way and Durango Improvements for Clark County, NV “Powering the Way” — When Clark County moved forward with the Peace Way and Durango Improvements project, Terra Contracting rerouted existing power systems and installed new conduit to improve infrastructure throughout the corridor. The project included new power systems, power manholes, streetlights, trenching, conduit installation, and asphalt paving improvements designed to enhance roadway safety and long-term utility reliability.

Terra Contracting installed more than 1,450 feet of conduit and completed over 8,000 square feet of asphalt paving while coordinating around existing infrastructure and maintaining safe work zones throughout construction. The completed improvements strengthened utility infrastructure and improved transportation safety for the surrounding community.
