Tropicana and I-15 New Bridge “Excalibur Relocation” — As part of the Tropicana and I-15 bridge improvements project, Terra Contracting completed utility relocation work to support ongoing roadway construction and infrastructure upgrades. The project required excavation, conduit installation, fiber relocation, and utility coordination within a high-traffic corridor near the Las Vegas Strip.
Terra Contracting removed existing conduit and fiber, installed more than 434 feet of new conduit and fiber, relocated the west manhole 8 feet, and relocated the east handhole 6 feet to accommodate the new bridge improvements. The work also included excavation around existing utility boxes, creation of a new relocation path, fiber splicing, slurry removal, and final backfill restoration.
The Tropicana and I-15 bridge improvements project required careful coordination around existing underground infrastructure while maintaining safe construction access and minimizing disruption within an active roadway environment. Terra Contracting performed utility relocation, conduit placement, excavation, and restoration work while meeting strict project schedules and construction standards.
